Valley Fire District in Granite County Montana was originally created by Granite County Resolution officially adopted by the Granite County Commissioners on May 23, 1980. The Valley Fire District was amended by Resolution and officially adopted by the Granite County Commissioners on October 7, 1987. Granite County appoints three members to the Valley Fire District Board and Powell County appoints two members.
