GEORGETOWN LAKE FIRE SERVICE AREA

The Georgetown Lake Fire Service Area in Granite County Montana was originally created by Granite County Resolution 97-12 "A Resolution of Intent to Create the Georgetown Lake Fire Service Area, Granite County" and Resolution 98-1 "A Resolution to Create the Georgetown Lake Fire Service Are Granite County" The GTLFSA include lands in both Granite County and Anaconda- Deer Lodge County, the Granite County Board of Commissioners in cooperation with the Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Board of Commissioners appoint trustees to facilitate the running of GTLFSA.

Granite County Board of Commissioners appoint two trustees shown below. Anaconda Deer Lodge County Board of Commissioners appoint two trustees; and GTLFSA appoints one.
