Current Job Openings:

 Part-Time Relief Legal Secretary/Clerk 

 Processes documents and waits on customers; types, files, and updates records on computer. This is a part-time relief position with no regularly scheduled hours. 

 This position performs clerical and secretarial duties requiring adherence to standards of accuracy, detail, timeliness, and confidentiality in the maintaining of records. Must be able to perform varied duties within various offices. Must be able to work flexible hours. Must be able to work with frequent interruptions. 

Victims / Witness Advocate 

Part Time Position to Permanent (pending Grant funding)

 This position is responsible for assisting victims and witnesses as they navigate the criminal justice system by providing support, information, and referral; must performs all duties required by Crime Victim’s Act; must prepare restitution reports and act as a liaison between victim / witnesses and prosecutors; performs secretarial and clerical work as needed. 

Secretary - Extension Office
Full Time Position

 Responsible for providing administrative support to the Extension office. General duties include office coordination, customer service, record keeping, and providing 4-H program support in an efficient, professional manner. Specific duties will include, but are not limited to, office receptionist, word processing, filing, budgeting / bookkeeping, maintaining data bases & mailing lists, designing newsletters, and providing support for the County Agent. 

Philipsburg Solid Waste Transfer Station Supervisor
Full Time Position

 This position performs a variety of professional, administrative, and supervisory duties in the smooth operation of the Philipsburg Solid Waste Transfer Station. Supervisor may be called in to work if and when any emergencies arise. May receive early morning, late evening, and weekend calls. May be exposed to hazardous materials such as acids in batteries, pesticides, chemicals, and used oil and increased risk of minor injury. Must adhere to safety standards. May deal with hostile persons. Position requires ability to explain clearly and persuasively the needs and goals of the district. Requires independent judgment with guidelines. Requires utilization of specialty software. 

Granite County Sheriff's Deputy
Part Time Position

Granite County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a part time Granite County resident Deputy Sheriff.  Must be 18 years of age or older and must possess a valid Montana Driver’s License; must not have any felony or domestic violence convictions.  POST Certification preferred but not required.  Subject to thorough background and driving record checks.  Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.  Must complete the Law Enforcement Academy basic Certification Course within one year of hire, if not POST certified.  Must pass a pre-employment psychological evaluation and medical exam; be of good moral and personal integrity.  Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, the applicant will serve a one year probationary period.
