NOTICE FROM GRANITE COUNTY COMMISSION REQUESTING LETTERS OF INTEREST WITH RESUMES

FOR INTERIM GRANITE COUNTY TREASURER POSITION COMMENCING MARCH 1, 2024

The Granite County Commission gives public notice that the Granite County Treasurer position will be open as of March 1, 2024. Per Montana law, the Commission must appoint an Interim Granite County Treasurer to be appointed as Granite County Treasurer, only on an interim basis, from March 1, 2024 through the General Election 2024 in Granite County being certified. If the appointee desires to retain the position then the appointee must file to run for office with the Granite County Clerk & Recorder (Election’s Administrator), by the deadline in March 2024. Granite County cannot and will not make any promises regarding the outcome of the said election. Anyone interested in the position must submit letters of interest with attached resumes to the Granite County Commission’s Assistant, Billie Ann Kulaski, in-person at the County Commission’s Office on the main floor of the Granite County Courthouse, 220 North Sansome, Philipsburg, Montana 59858, or by US mail at P.O. Box 925, Philipsburg, Montana 59858, or by e-mail at bkulaski@co.granite.mt.us /. Letters of interest with attached resumes should be received by Granite County no later than February 2, 2024 at 5:00 pm local time. Preference will be given to those interested that have experience in accounting, bookkeeping, spreadsheets, accounting software, property tax matters, public service, public relations, and human resource management.
